This car may have been built using the chassis of another Cobra (not this chassis
number) that was crashed at Silverstone .

There is another Cobra bearing the same
chassis number that would appear to be the original 6042 whci was imported form the
USA in the 1980s. The car was prepared for the late Chris Browning by Autokraft's Emilio
Garcia and was acquired by Jonathan Bradburn in 1998 and has been
race prepared by Roger Dowson Engineering at Silverstone for Tony Hill and
Jonathan Bradburn. Tony has raced it primarily in AMOC events and has also had wins at other events
including Phoenix Park, Dublin in 2001.
Body work is standard, a rebuilt engine, fire extinguisher system, belts and roll cage are fitted.
It has screen and standard trimmed seats, carpets and woodrim steering wheel but is
raced with ali bucket seat and comp. steering wheel. It is generally in excellent
condition and recent work includes fitting new springs, engine overhaul, chassis
set-up, new exhaust system and others.
It may have spare wire wheels and knock-on Minilite wheels and various other spares such as springs,
shock absorbers, starter motor, alternator etc.
It is an ideal car for thoroughbred racing or road use, is extremely tractable and
has a FIVA rally log book and current FIA HTP. It is currently
fitted with a fresh Peter Knight engine.
