This car was one of 8 built and was supplied in 1968 to the Worcester Racing Association. It was driven in various races by John Burton which included the 1000 Kilometres at Brands Hatch at which time it was fitted with a BMW 2 litre engine. In 1969 it was sold to Brian Alexander who fitted an ex British Leyland Oldsmobile development engine. He hill-climbed the car successfully before selling it to Kevin Hodgkinson in 1972 who then later sold it in 1975 to a Mr. Bickerstaffe.

Click to enlarge Chris Smith bought it back from Ireland in the early 80's and sold it to Peter Cook who hill-climbed it successfully again with many records to his credit. He than passed it on to Bo Persson in Sweden. It was then acquired in 1991 by Ginetta specialist Trevor Needham who rebuilt and race prepared the car and then raced it in supersports and HSCC events. The present vendor acquired the car in 2003 and in August 2003 it was driven at the Shelsey Walsh invitation meeting. It is currently fitted with a freshly rebuilt Rover based V8 of 4.5 litres (which had been prepared for the Nigel Mansell Tuscan) and has an FG400 Hewland gearbox.

It has FIA and HSCC papers and is road registered! It has various chassis and mechanical spares, a spare body and a spare set of wheels. Click to enlarge It is ready to roll as they say and is in excellent condition. It has twin fuel tanks fitted.

It is suitable for racing in Supersports or or for conversion back to BMW powered 2 litre for Gp6 or GT or whatever. There are some BMW spares with the car.
